As a fitness and nutrition blogger I am often sent products to look at, try out and review. Call it a perk of the job! I’m always honest with my reviews – I don’t want you wasting your money on garbage. This time, it was another protein powder.
Here is my BSN Syntha-6 Edge Review…
When I first saw the mixing directions I was a little surprised – the guide suggests a rounded scoop with be mixed with 120-150 ml of water. Usually you’d expect a either a smaller scoop or more water, but I went ahead as directed – the BSN Syntha-6 Edge review needs to be bang accurate!
The result is a really smooth, nice-flavoured protein powder. I tried the vanilla ice cream and it tasted just like melted ice cream or a good quality milk shake. I was really impressed.
I mixed the protein in my King shaker (easily the best shaker on the market) and it mixed perfectly – not a hint of a powder bomb, the whole drink was smooth.
Thanks to the lower water content of the mix it was nice and thick, just like a milk shake. I’ve also mentioned in the past that I can’t stand the artificial sweetener flavour you get with some protein powders and this didn’t have that at all. It’s surprisingly low in sugar too at only 1.5g per serving.
