After you’ve rested and you’re ready to get back in the gym, you need to start slowly. A knee injury workout should always start with a light warm-up of a brisk walk or bicycle ride. Then you can do some straight leg raises or hamstring curls. 

Your shoulder injury workout should improve your stability and mobility. Start with crossover arm stretches and then move into a pendulum exercise. You can also do passive internal rotation exercises with a yardstick. 

You’ll need to be careful when doing a back injury workout. Skip the toe touches and full sit-ups and instead opt for partial crunches and a laying down hamstring stretch.
