Some people believe that exercising is only useful if you want to lose some weight, which is a shame. Exercise has many benefits for both your body and mind, and in this post, we are going to look at the mind aspect. Let’s look at some reasons why exercise is awesome for your mental health. 

It Helps You Sleep 

If you are getting under 7 hours of sleep each night, it can worsen your mental health. There are various tips to help you sleep better, with one of them being exercising. When you exercise during the day, you may be able to fall asleep faster and sleep for longer. With that said, avoid working out too close to your bedtime, as the energy boost you get can have the opposite effect.

If you’re feeling depressed, anxious, or you’re just in a sour mood, exercising can help with all of that. When you work out, your brain releases endorphins, a chemical that can stop pain and make you feel good in the process.
