Fitness and Weight Loss Revolution in Stockport

Hoyles Fitness is growing!

After a successful first two years of personal training in Stockport and Cheshire East, the time has come to expand the Hoyles Fitness offering!

2012 has been an important year in the evolution of Hoyles Fitness. A new website, a more involved social media programme, a bit of business recognition, new clients, lots of learning, development and launch of the Handy Plan and plenty of lessons learnt. As with anything in life, it is important to learn from experiences and use them wisely.

I’m certainly doing that!

2013 is set to be a big year. The personal training in Stockport and surrounding areas will  continue. I am lucky to have a fantastic client base and we are achieving great things together.

The most exciting development for me from a business perspective is that I have signed a deal with Life Leisure Houldsworth Village, bringing the Hoyles Fitness brand to the facility. Starting in January 2013 there will be a Handy Plan group launched, building on the success and lessons learned from the Poynton group.

In addition to the Handy Plan I will also be offering personal training in the centre, which will appeal to residents of Heaton Moor, Reddish, Heaton Mersey, Heaton Chapel, Stockport and South Manchester.

In early 2013 there will be a Stockport Bootcamp, which will build on the success of the taster sessions delivered this year. The aim here is to turn this into a thriving community of like-minded individuals, all wanting to work hard to live a fit and healthy life. My services include exercise, nutrition and an online home for social support, so I have all of the bases covered.

Away from the hands-on work of delivering sessions, I will be working on a series of e-books for readers of the website. Having been in the industry for 10 years and helping thousands of people at various levels, I think I am suitably experienced to share some of the knowledge I have accrued over this time.

The final goal for the year is to increase the traffic to this website. The site launched on September 17th 2012 and the traffic has gradually increased, up to around 600 unique visits per month within the first 2 and a half months.

I will be making a concerted effort to grow this by adding improvements to the site and developing a series of new (somewhat secret at present) projects and a newsletter, keeping followers informed of progress. There will also be an increase and improvement of the videos that are filmed and uploaded. Many of the videos so far have been off-the-cuff and experimental, but these will be improved next year.

So there we go, my business intentions for the year have been put onto the internet for all to see! Let’s see if I can practice what I preach and use my approaches to achieve my goals!

If you have any questions or suggestions for improvements to Hoyles Fitness, please leave them in comments below or email me on Steve@Hoylesfitness.com.
