Alan’s Story

At the age of 50 and weighing in excess of 16 stone, a chance meeting with Steve Hoyles of Hoyles Fitness gave me a life changing opportunity to lose weight and regain my fitness. I was impressed by Steve’s expertise and enthusiasm in his subject, and as a result I followed his advice to the letter.

Within a year I managed to lose four stone, and to reduce my bodyfat from 33% to under 15%. This was done through a combination of exercise and a complete change of diet. Although much of the contact with Hoyles Fitness was via the internet, I have also been fortunate to have had the opportunity to train under Steve’s direct supervision on three occasions.

A chance meeting with Steve has totally transformed my health and fitness and the way I think.

Losing weight is not difficult. To maintain the weight loss means making lifelong changes in diet and activity – something which I hope is now a permanent part of my life.
